Jared Porpiglia

Jared Porpiglia has a diverse work experience spanning over a period of more than 15 years. Jared recently served as the Vice President of Procurement at Greenbacker since March 2023. Prior to that, starting in December 2021, Jared worked as a Certified Coach at SightShift.

Before their role at Greenbacker, Jared held several positions at Arevon, including Vice President of Procurement from March 2021 to December 2022, and Director of Procurement from August 2019 to March 2021.

Earlier in their career, Jared was a Senior Procurement Director at Cypress Creek Renewables from February 2018 to August 2019 and a Senior Procurement Manager at NRG Energy from March 2016 to February 2018. Prior to that, they served as a Procurement Manager at NRG Energy and a Director of Supply Chain at Sunora Energy Solutions, LLC.

Jared also worked as a Senior Project Buyer at First Solar from April 2011 to May 2014, a Senior Field Cost Accountant at Environmental Restoration LLC from May 2010 to April 2011, and a Field Cost Accountant at WRScompass from April 2009 to May 2010.

Jared began their career as a Project Manager at Oxford Search Group from September 2007 to November 2008.

Jared Porpiglia attended SUNY Brockport from 2004 to 2006, where they earned a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Business Management. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2004, they attended Jamestown Community College and obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business Administration. In addition to their formal education, Jared obtained a certification as a SightShift Certified Coach from SightShift in December 2021.
