Matthew James

Matthew James is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and finance, currently serving as an Associate at Greenbelt Capital Partners since January 2022. Previously, Matthew held the position of Senior Analyst at Trilantic North America from April 2021 to March 2022. Prior to that, Matthew worked at Optony Inc. leading research focused on making desalination plants more sustainable through solar energy solutions and developed a mathematical model for energy optimization in desalination systems. Matthew began their career at the University of Richmond, where Matthew was a Research Assistant studying grain boundary migration in diblock copolymers and a Teaching Assistant for Physics 131. Matthew holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Richmond.
