Barry Horwitz serves on the Board of Directors at Legal Aid Chicago since January 2020 and is a Shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where responsibilities encompass various aspects of intellectual property law, focusing on patent, copyright, trade secret, and trademark matters. Litigation experience includes drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and successfully arguing motions, trials, and appeals. Previous roles include Teaching Assistant positions at Northwestern University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as Research Assistant to Len Rubinowitz, where research work supported projects, including historical analyses. Barry holds a J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
