Andrew Michalski is an accomplished Naturalist Educator and Living Collections Manager at Greenburgh Nature Center, where responsibilities include managing a diverse collection of over 100 animals, overseeing husbandry, habitat design, and medication administration since June 2014. Previous roles include Curator of Living Collections and Naturalist Educator, as well as a Naturalist Intern, focusing on animal care, educational programs, and volunteer oversight. Earlier experience includes serving as a Summer Teaching Fellow at the Wildlife Conservation Society, engaging camp groups in wildlife education at the Bronx Zoo, and as a Plant Science Intern at Wave Hill, contributing to ecological maintenance and restoration projects. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Fordham University and is currently pursuing an MA in Animal Behavior and Conservation at Hunter College.
