Bret Howard

Bret Howard has extensive experience in the education sector. Bret currently serves as the Director of Operations at Education Service Center - Greenbush, starting in July 2022. Prior to this, they were the Superintendent at Uniontown USD 235 from July 2017 to the present. Before taking on a leadership role, Bret worked as a Principal and Athletic Director at Flinthills High School from July 2013 to June 2017. Bret also served as a Principal and Athletic Director at Eureka Jr/Sr High School, starting in August 2007 and ending in July 2013. Additionally, Bret worked as an Assistant Principal at Eureka Jr/Sr High School from August 2006 to July 2007. Bret began their career as a Journalism/English Teacher at Remington High School in August 1998 and worked there until May 2006.

Bret Howard has a comprehensive education history. Bret completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Secondary Education with a focus on English/Journalism at Kansas State University from 1992 to 1995. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1992, Bret attended Tabor College where they studied Secondary Education and Teaching. In 2005 to 2006, they pursued their Master of Arts (M.A.) in K-12 School Leadership at Baker University. Most recently, from 2015 to 2016, Bret obtained a District Leadership Licensure at Newman University while specializing in District Leadership.
