Patty Carter has extensive experience in the field of special education. Patty has worked as the Director of Special Education at Education Service Center - Greenbush since July 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Special Services at USD 345 from July 2013 to June 2017. Patty also has experience as an Assistant Principal at Topeka Public Schools USD 501 from July 2012 to June 2013. Before that, Patty worked as a Consultant in the Title Programs and Services Team at the Kansas State Department of Education from November 2010 to July 2012. Patty also held the position of Assistant Director for the Special Education Services Team at KSDE from September 2005 to November 2010.
Patty Carter earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Elementary Education from Kansas State University, where they studied from 1991 to 1994. Patty then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Special Education at the same university from 1996 to 2001. Later, in 2011 to 2012, they attended Emporia State University and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Educational Administration.
