Peter Solomon Gross

Peter Solomon Gross is an accomplished composer, engraver, and editor-in-chief with extensive experience in the music industry. Since January 1998, Peter has operated Sol Muse, financing and constructing an Audio/MIDI studio for both commercial and artistic compositions. Peter currently holds editing and engraving positions at G. Schirmer, Inc., Greencard, Ayotte Music, ATLANTIC COAST OPERA FESTIVAL, CHESTER RIVER CHORALE, Hal Leonard LLC, and Boosey & Hawkes, while also serving as an engraver and assistant editor at IPSILON MUSIC SERVICES. Peter's past role as an instructor at String Sound Studios involved private tutorials in saxophone, clarinet, and piano. Peter earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Traditional Composition from Purchase College, SUNY, and also studied at Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten and Skidmore College.
