Derek Foley Butler, FCA is an accomplished business leader and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the finance and development sectors. As the Founder, Group CEO, and Executive Chairman of GRID Finance since June 2013, Derek is dedicated to enhancing the financial health of small businesses. Derek serves as an Investor and Board member at Business Post and has held multiple leadership roles, including Founder and Chairman of the National Fintech Awards and Founder and Director of the GRID Foundation. Notably, Derek founded and coordinated the SME Recovery Campaign, which played a critical role in shaping government policy for SMEs during the pandemic. With a strong academic foundation, including a Master's degree in Business and Economics from Trinity College Dublin, Derek's expertise is complemented by professional qualifications from Chartered Accountants Ireland.
