Rachel Barner has over a decade of experience in education, currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Greene Central School District since August 2019, where 2nd grade is taught. Prior to this role, Rachel worked as a Special Education Teacher at Binghamton City School District from August 2018 to August 2019, co-teaching Algebra. Earlier experience includes teaching 2nd and 3rd grades in a 6:1:1 Day Treatment Program at Children's Home of Wyoming Conference from July 2016 to August 2018, and spending eight years at Chesterfield County Public Schools, where responsibilities included teaching special education in inclusive and self-contained classrooms and regular education in kindergarten and second grade. Rachel Barner holds a Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor's degree in Childhood and Special Education from Roberts Wesleyan University, complemented by an Associate's degree from SUNY Broome Community College.
