Hugh Atkinson

Hugh Atkinson has a strong background in finance and management. Hugh started their career as a Business Analyst at Tesco PLC in 2009 and later became a Finance Manager. In 2011, they took on the role of Project Manager, where they launched the Tesco Group Financial Control Framework. Hugh then worked as a Finance Manager in different areas, including Property Finance and Commercial Finance, where they had to navigate a period of substantial change. From 2014 to 2017, Hugh served as the Head of Finance for UK Distribution at Tesco. Hugh also briefly held the role of Finance Manager for FP&A in Poland. In 2017, they joined Arm as a Senior Director of FP&A before moving to their current position as Finance Director for Pub Partners at Greene King in 2018.

Hugh Atkinson attended the University of Nottingham from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics. Prior to this, they also attended Hills Road Sixth Form College in Cambridge, although no specific degree or field of study is provided.
