Oliver Taylor has a diverse work experience history. Oliver started their career as an intern at The Independent, where their one-week work experience placement extended to a two-month internship. During this time, they wrote their own World Cup column for the paper. Oliver also had a work experience opportunity at the BBC, where they performed research duties for the BBC Three Counties Sport team and gained knowledge about live radio.
In 2011, Oliver joined RSM Ltd as a Junior Account Executive and later became an Account Executive. Oliver worked at RSM Ltd until 2012.
From 2012 to 2019, Oliver worked at elliotts, a leisure specialists agency. Oliver started as a Senior Insight Manager and was later promoted to Research & Insight Director. In this role, they led research and strategy briefs, developed and delivered debriefs, conducted full research design and implementation, facilitated qualitative research, introduced new methodologies, utilized data analysis tools, and managed projects.
Since 2019, Oliver has been working at Greene King as the Head of Insight (Consumer & Market).
Oliver Taylor completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Journalism from Solent University from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Walton Learning Centre from 2005 to 2007 where they pursued A-Levels in English, Economics, and Politics. In addition, Oliver Taylor obtained certification in Inbound from HubSpot Academy in August 2017.
