Lisa McKelvey has a long history of experience in journalism and business development. Lisa began their career in 2005 as a Broadcast Journalist for Donegal Highland Radio Limited. In 2006, they worked as a Print Journalist (Freelance) for Tirconaill Tribune Newspaper and in 2007 they worked as a Newspaper Columnist for THE DERRY JOURNAL LIMITED and a Broadcast Journalist (Freelance) for Newstalk 106-108. In 2011, they worked as a Multimedia Journalist for RTÉ, National Broadcaster Ireland where they were responsible for reading news bulletins, news management, compiling and voicing radio and television reports and packages, script writing, interviewing and compiling news bulletins. In 2015, they became the VP Business Development for Self Help Africa and in 2016 they became a Board Member for the same organization. In 2020, they became the Co-Founder at GreenFeet.com.
Lisa McKelvey received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English/Politics from Queen's University Belfast in 2005. Lisa then went on to obtain their Master's Degree in Journalism from Technological University Dublin in 2007. Finally, they completed a Postgrad Diploma in Primary Education from Trinity College Dublin.
