Rebecca Bittner

Senior Director of Educational Technology at Greenfield Learning

Rebecca began her teaching career around the corner from her childhood home in Los Angeles. With a deep and personal passion for education, she's worked as a classroom teacher, an instructional designer for McGraw-Hill's Center for Innovation, and a district personalized learning manager. When she's not teaching, she can be found learning. Rebecca earned her BA in Literature from the College of Creative Studies at UCSB and completed her Single Subject Teaching Credential program in English at California State University Long Beach. She earned her MA in Social Entrepreneurship from Goldsmiths College, University of London, completing her thesis on the impact of commoning on innovation within schools.

Along this journey, she's managed to attend to her love of travel, living in seven cities and traveling to thirty countries. She geeks out over technology and is deeply committed to improving her capacity to do the work and hold space for others.
