Robert Logan

Robert Logan is a seasoned professional in the oil industry with over 20 years of experience, currently serving as the Founder and Former CEO of Exploring New Ventures since February 2025. Previously held the positions of President and CEO at Greenfire Resources and Greenfire Hangingstone Operating Corporation from April 2021 to February 2025 and 2017 to 2021, respectively. Logan has extensive experience in thermal oil sands and SAGD operations, having worked in various capacities at Sunshine Oilsands Ltd, Petrobank Energy Resources Ltd., and Petrospec Engineering. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
