André Ouimette

André Ouimette has extensive work experience in the forest products industry. André started their career in 2001 at Tembec Kapuskasing Operation as a Technical Superintendent and then served as a Production Manager at Tembec Kapuskasing Operations from 2004 to 2008. André joined Tembec in 2008 and held various positions, including General Manager of Kapuskasing Newsprint Operations and Vice President of Tembec Ontario Operations. In 2018, they joined Rayonier Advanced Materials as Vice President of Sawmill and Newsprint Operations, where they were responsible for leading operational activities for the company's Canadian sawmill operations and Kapuskasing Newsprint mill. Currently, they are the Vice President of Operations at GreenFirst Forest Products, overseeing the West Sawmill operations and the Kapuskasing Newsprint mill. In this role, they have successfully completed projects such as restarting a paper machine line and hiring new employees.

André Ouimette obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ottawa between 1987 and 1990.
