Walter Hepner

Walter Hepner has over three decades of work experience in various roles related to operations, manufacturing, materials management, and purchasing. Walter most recently worked as the Vice President of Operations at GreenGate Fresh LLLP since November 2015. Prior to that, they served as a Plant Manager at Fresh Express and was responsible for managing the manufacturing activities of a large fresh refrigerated vegetable and fruit factory. Walter also held the role of Manufacturing Manager, where they directed all manufacturing activities and led a team in managing scheduling, purchasing, and product trace-back for a major fresh produce company. Hepner also worked as a Materials Manager at Fresh Express, where they were responsible for plant scheduling, purchasing, and compliance with SOX regulations. Before joining Fresh Express, they served as a Purchasing/Inventory Manager at GreenGate Fresh LLLP and a Distribution, Inventory, and Receiving Manager at Christopher Ranch Llc. Hepner began their career as a Production Planning and Materials Store Supervisor at Cylink Corporation.

Walter Hepner earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Industrial Technology- Materials from California State University, Fresno from 1985 to 1988.
