Tom Rowley

Assistant Principal for Curriculum, Quality & Student Outcomes at Greenhead College

As Assistant Principal for Curriculum, Quality and Student Outcomes, Tom's role includes monitoring the quality of Teaching and Learning in the college, student progress and developing staff CPD. A keen historian, he studied at Sunderland and then completed his PGCE at Bristol University. He has worked in education for over 20 years, teaching History firstly to undergraduates at Huddersfield University, then 11-18 year olds in Hertfordshire before specialising at sixth form level here at Greenhead College. Deeply interested in developing pedagogy, he has played an active role in attending and presenting at teaching conferences, Teach Meets and running Greenhead’s own CPD programme. Mark supervises London PAWS placement students every summer and enjoy the experience since that is his home town.
