Carlos Gómez de la Rubia's work experience includes roles at multiple prestigious financial institutions. Carlos started their career as an intern at Rothschild in 2001, followed by a summer analyst position at Banco Santander in 2003. Carlos later joined Goldman Sachs as an analyst in 2004, where they worked on notable deals such as advising Sara Lee in the disposal of its air care business to P&G and the disposal of its global body care and European detergent business to Unilever. In 2009, Carlos moved to BBVA as a vice president, eventually becoming an executive director and then a managing director. During their time at BBVA, they advised on various transactions, including the sale of Urbaser to a consortium led by China Tianying and the acquisition of Indusal by Elis. Carlos Gómez de la Rubia completed a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, General from McGill University in 2003.
