James Male is an experienced professional with a diverse background in fundraising, finance, and real estate. Currently serving as a Fundraising Consultant at Greenhouse Sports since January 2021, James previously held the position of Head of Fundraising at The Swimming Trust, where responsibilities included developing innovative fundraising strategies. Earlier roles include Senior Negotiator at Marsh and Parsons and Douglas and Gordon, achieving significant revenue growth and market share increases. With a foundational career in finance, James served as a Director at Bywoods Ltd, specializing in investment for US clients, and held senior sales positions at SBC Warburg and Credit Lyonnais, generating substantial commission income. James holds a Member of London Stock Exchange qualification and an HND in Business Studies from the University of London.

Greenhouse Sports believes in the power of sport to raise the aspirations of young people and help them reach their full potential. We are a London-based charity, partnering with schools to deliver full-time, high-quality sport programmes that give young people the chance to experience structure, goal-setting, teamwork, a sense of achievement and mutual respect. Since 2002, over 40,000 young people have participated on our programmes, working with qualified coaches who are technically skilled in addition to being excellent role models and mentors. Through the relationships developed with participants, our coaches are able to effect change in the long-term development of their social, thinking, emotional and physical skills.
