Keon Jackson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Human Resource Intern and Wedding Assistant Coordinator at John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts. Keon then became a Spa Operations Supervisor at the same company. In 2014, Keon joined the U.S. National Whitewater Center as a Catering & Events staff member. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as an Assistant Event Sales & Marketing Manager at Piedmont Social House. In 2016, they became a Group Sales & Catering Manager / Business Transient Sales Manager at Sheraton Bay Point Resort. Keon also freelanced as a Wedding & Event Planner from 2011 to 2018. In 2017, they joined Cvent as an Account Manager and later became a Senior Account Manager. In 2020, Keon founded their own company, Being Keon Jackson, LLC. Most recently, they worked as an Account Manager and Account Manager II at Greenhouse Software, starting in 2021 and continuing into the present.

Keon Jackson earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Leadership and Ethics from John Brown University between 2013 and 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business Management at Johnson & Wales University from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Keon also obtained the Cvent certification from Cvent in October 2017, and the NC ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification in February 2015.
