Steve Hartman is the Chief Executive Officer of the Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity and Foundation. Alpha Kappa Psi is a co-educational professional development organization with student chapters on 216 college campuses and 240,000 initiated members.
Steve began his association management career with the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity in Oxford, Ohio, serving as Chief Executive Officer from 2002 until joining AKPsi in 2013. He has held the Certified Association Executive designation since 2010 and currently serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Indiana Society of Association Executives.
He began his professional career as a management consultant with Andersen Consulting/Accenture. After Accenture, Steve continued his consulting career in continuous improvement and supply chain optimization, including roles with the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati and the US Department of Defense. Steve has a bachelor’s degree from Muskingum University (OH) and an MBA from Miami University (OH).
