Brian Manley

Brian Manley has a diverse work experience in the field of sales support, product biology, and field development. Brian has worked at GreenLight Biosciences as the Director of Technical Sales Support, where they provided technical leadership and guidance for the successful launch of new RNA-based bio-pesticides. Prior to this, they held the role of Director, Product Biology at the same company, where they managed field and greenhouse testing capabilities for crop protection compounds. Brian also worked as the Field Development Head, where they led and implemented a focused field research program aligned with inputs from various teams.

Before their time at GreenLight Biosciences, Brian Manley was a member of the Board of Directors at Tuscan Ridge Animal Hospital, where they provided strategic guidance and contributed to the growth of the business. Brian also has extensive experience at Syngenta, where they held various roles such as Global Corn R&D Portfolio Manager, Product Biology Lead, Herbicide Tolerant Traits & HRM, Weed Control R&D Program Manager, Global Technical Manager for Herbicides, and Technical Center Manager. In these positions, they provided leadership and coordination for R&D projects, managed global technical strategies, and supervised operations of research stations.

Brian Manley received their Ph.D. in Weed Science from Virginia Tech from 1990 to 1995. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Agronomy and Crop Science with a minor in Business from Delaware Valley University from 1986 to 1990.
