Mehrdad Torabi, MSc, EIT, currently serves as a Test and Service Engineer at Greenlight Innovation Corp. since May 2022. Previously, Torabi was a Graduate Research Assistant in the HVAC research group at the University of Saskatchewan from January 2019 to April 2022, contributing research to ASHRAE RP-1780 regarding cross-contamination evaluation in energy recovery wheels. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Assistant at Islamic Azad University Central Tehran Branch from January 2015 to December 2018, where Torabi conducted computational fluid dynamics simulations and published findings in the IJHMT Journal. Torabi earned a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan between 2019 and 2021.
