Marty Bennett

Marty Bennett has a long and varied work history that includes stints as a country manager, business development manager, and solutions consultant. Marty has also held directorships with several companies. Marty is currently the country manager for Green Light, an Australian-owned company that provides IT services to systems integrators, telcos, vendors, consultancies, and defense organizations in a global market. Marty is responsible for bootstrapping the company's new New Zealand office and meeting with existing clients. In their previous role as an account manager with Ericsson, Marty was responsible for developing and managing relationships with key accounts. Marty also has experience in the real estate industry, having served as a director with Mache.Rocks. Loch Long, GMP & Wellywood Property Companies. In this role, they were responsible for sourcing and purchasing residential property portfolios, managing renovation projects, and securing new financing for expansion. Marty is also a certified SCUBA instructor and has been teaching people to dive for over 7 years.

Marty Bennett attended the University of the West of Scotland, where they earned their Masters in Business Information Technology. Some of the subjects they studied include Development of Information Systems & Business Software, Management of Databases, Strategic & Project Management, Business Communications, and Internet Development. Marty'sdissertation topic was creating a prototype PC based interactive CV in Visual Basic & an Internet based CV utilising graphics & HTML.
