Ben Gomes

Ben Gomes is a seasoned transportation professional with extensive experience in transportation design, planning, and consulting. Currently serving as a Transportation Designer at GPI / Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. since May 2024, Ben previously worked as a Transportation Consultant at VHB from September 2021 to May 2024, specializing in operational and safety analysis for private urban developments in Boston and Cambridge. Prior roles include Managing Member at LPB Inc., where leadership and operational oversight were key responsibilities, and Transportation Engineer/Planner positions at VHB and the Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization, focusing on traffic impact studies and transportation engineering solutions. Ben started the career as a Teacher Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, which was completed in 2016.
