John Montagne

John Montagne has extensive experience in the field of land development. John worked as the Vice President / Director of Land Development at Greenman - Pedersen, Inc. GPI starting in October 2012. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Land Development at The Chazen Companies from April 2005 to August 2012. John also served as the Director of the company's Capital District Office in Albany, New York, where they were responsible for various service lines including Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Surveying, Natural Resources Services, planning, Environmental investigation and remediation, transportation planning, and geotechnical services. During their time with The Chazen Companies, the office grew from 2 to 48 employees.

John Montagne, RLA, AICP, LEED AP completed their Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture at the University of Kentucky from 1981 to 1985. John then pursued further education at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, earning an MLA degree in Landscape Architecture, Land Use Regulation & Planning from 1985 to 1988.
