Matthew Roberts

Matthew Roberts is a highly experienced structural engineer and project manager currently employed at GPI / Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. since May 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a structural design engineer at M.J. Engineering and Land Surveying, P.C. from June 2015 to May 2022, and holding various roles at NYSDOT, including Transportation Construction Inspector II and Transportation Construction Inspector from April 2013 to August 2015. Matthew's project oversight includes daily status reporting, material procurement, and compliance with project specifications. In addition to engineering expertise, Matthew has developed strong communication and maintenance skills through earlier work as a recreation attendant for the Town of Tonawanda Youth. Matthew holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering and Commerce from Clarkson University, completed in 2015, alongside certifications in concrete field testing, earthwork inspection, and erosion and sediment control from NYSDOT.
