Mark A. Latta

Dr. Mark Latta is Professor and Dean of the School of Dentistry at Creighton University. He has received more than 120 grants on prosthetic dental restorative materials, adhesives, dental material clinical trials. Mark is an internationally renowned speaker and lecturer. He has over 280 manuscripts, abstracts and presentions to his credit. He is prior R&D Director, Trubyte Division of Dentsply International. He has in excess of 20 dental product introductions and is the inventor on numerous patents. Mark is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and International College of Dentists, a member Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Honorary Dental Society, and former President, IADR Dental Materials Group. He graduated from Lafayette College, Easton PA with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine graduating in 1983. He earned a certificate for a General Practice Hospital Residency and a Master’s degree in Oral Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery.
