Alex Lassiter has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2009, Alex worked as an Associate Consultant Intern at Bain & Company. In 2010, they joined InternMatch as a Project Manager, where they led various projects and contributed to the company's success in the Innovate100! Pitch Slam competition. From 2010 to 2012, Alex worked at Bain & Company as an Associate Consultant. In 2012, they co-founded Gather Technologies and served as the Head of Sales until 2020. In 2020, Alex worked as a Special Liaison for the North Carolina Div of Emergency Management, focusing on the state's COVID-19 Task Force. In 2021, they founded GreenPlaces and assumed the role of Founder & CEO. Most recently, in 2022, Alex became a Founding Investor at Triangle Tweener Fund. Throughout their career, Alex has gained experience in project management, sales, consulting, and entrepreneurship.
Alex Lassiter attended UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 2006 to 2010. During this time, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with Honors, earning the distinction of graduating with distinction. Their area of focus was consulting and emerging markets.
