Yogesh Tushar has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Yogesh started their career as a Marine Engineer at Pacific International Lines, where they oversaw the maintenance of marine engines and other machinery. Yogesh then moved on to Tata Motors, where they held multiple roles including Head of Manufacturing and Divisional Manager Strategic Planning and Business Excellence. At Tata Motors, they were responsible for production planning, process optimization, and implementing safety management systems. After Tata Motors, Yogesh worked as the Plant Head at Fenesta Building Systems, where they managed plant operations and established policies and procedures. Yogesh then joined Saint-Gobain Group in India as the Operation Head, leading operations for the company. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Operations at Greenply Plywood, where they oversee manufacturing operations, ensures adherence to quality standards, liaises with government authorities, and strategizes plans for profitability. Throughout their career, Yogesh has demonstrated a strong focus on process optimization, quality management, and operational excellence.

Yogesh Tushar obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vijay Nagar Engineering College. Yogesh attended this college from 1994 to 1998. Prior to their college education, they completed their schooling at St. Michael's school in Patna.

In addition to their formal education, Yogesh Tushar has obtained several certifications. These include "Train the Trainer" from DuPont, USA in November 2014, "SMF and Incident Investigation" from DuPont Nutrition & Health in June 2012, "TS 14969 / ISO Auditor" from Bureau Veritas in July 2010, "Six Sigma Green belt" from Omax in April 2009, "Tata Business Excellence Model" from Tata Motors in 2008, "Certificate Of Competency" from Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore in January 2001, and "Class 5 MEO COC" from Singapore Polytechnic in September 2000.
