Dave Fox is a Professor of Music at Greensboro College since September 1995, teaching courses in music theory, music appreciation, music fundamentals, as well as applied classical and jazz piano. Prior to this role, Dave led The Dave Fox Group from 2004 to 2010, creating music influenced by notable artists like Cecil Taylor and Ornette Coleman while incorporating structured elements. Educational accomplishments include an Ed.D. in Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University (2001-2009), an M.M. in Piano Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (1985-1988), and a B.M. in Music Performance from the same university (1973-1985).
