Warché Downing

Warché Downing, M.Ed., currently serves as the Dean of Student Success and Engagement at Greensboro College, leading initiatives for student retention and success, managing a substantial Title III grant, and enhancing student engagement programs. Previously, Warché held multiple roles at Say Yes Guilford, including Senior Director of Data and Postsecondary Success, where oversight of scholarship disbursement positively impacted over 4,100 students. Warché's experience spans various educational and community organizations, with a focus on increasing college access, retention, and success through strategic programming and partnerships. Warché holds a B.A. in Public Policy and an M.Ed. in Student Personnel Administration and is a PhD candidate in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Cultural Studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
