Director Of Community Engagement at Greensboro Police Department

Jenny Caviness is an experienced leader in community engagement, currently serving as the Director of Community Engagement for the Greensboro Police Department since November 2015. In this role, Jenny has established the Office of Community Engagement to address and improve police-community relations within Greensboro, one of North Carolina's largest police departments. Prior to this position, Jenny worked for the City of Greensboro from January 2001 to November 2015 as the Division Manager for Youth and Volunteer Services, where responsibilities included coordinating services for youth and engaging volunteers. Jenny holds a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management from North Carolina State University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
