Shara Zook

Shara Zook has been working in the healthcare industry since 1997. Shara began their career at CIGNA Government Services as a Provider Relations Representative for Medicare Part B. In 2008, they moved to EMS Management & Consultants, Inc. as a Strategic Account Manager and Business Development. In 2014, they joined Wittman Enterprises, LLC as a Client Liaison and Business Development. In 2015, they began working at Canopy Partners as a Compliance Manager, where they were responsible for HIPAA and Healthcare Compliance for multiple Radiology groups. In 2020, they joined Radiology Partners as a Senior Compliance Manager, and in 2021 they became the Practice Director at Greensboro Radiology.

Shara Zook obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Washington between 1992 and 1997. Shara then went on to earn a Master's degree in Healthcare Corporate Compliance from The George Washington University in 2012. In 2016, Shara received two certifications: a Certified Professional Compliance Officer from AAPC and a Certified HIPAA Compliance Officer from the American Institute of Healthcare Compliance, Inc.
