Ava Chong

Ava Chong has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

In 2015, they interned at the Singapore Kindness Movement.

In 2016, they worked as a waitress at Jaco Juice & Taco Bar.

In 2017, they served as a hostess at Ali Baba.

In 2018, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the National University of Singapore, where they focused on Vision Field Testing with Virtual Reality.

In 2019, they gained experience as a Machine Learning Intern at Cigna.

In 2020, they took on multiple roles. Firstly, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering, where they instructed and graded labs for two sophomore classes. Additionally, they worked as a Software Developer & Consultant at CGI.

In 2021, they worked as a DevOps Engineer at Astrobotic, specializing in Embedded Systems.

In 2022, they joined Prototype PGH as a Member of the Board of Directors. Ava also worked as a DevOps Engineer at Greensea Systems, Inc.

Ava Chong attended the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering. In October 2020, they also earned the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer certification from Oracle.
