Jaine Elizabeth Perotti has a diverse range of work experience. Jaine Elizabeth started their career as a Creative Intern at The American Mural Project, where they assisted with administrative tasks and coordinated meetings between high school students and NASA scientists. Jaine Elizabeth then worked as an Engineering Intern at FAU Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute, developing and testing software for an underwater coral health sensor.

Jaine Elizabeth later embarked on an Engineering Internship at Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI) where they developed software for low-voltage load switching boards used on the FOCE (Free Ocean Carbon Enrichment) experiment.

Jaine then worked as an Assistant to the Project Manager at Pratt & Whitney Canada, where they designed and developed databases and software tools to improve the performance of a jet engine maintenance facility.

Jaine Elizabeth then gained experience as an Electrical Test Technician at BOMBARDIER, where they performed electrical testing on subway train subsystems and prepared reports on test results.

Most recently, Jaine joined Mold-Rite Plastics, Inc. as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, where they designed a printed circuit board and redesigned an industrial packing robot to reduce shipping costs.

Currently, they work as a Jr. Robotics Engineer at Greensea Systems, Inc., where they design, analyzes, tests, and integrates software and electronics for marine vehicle systems. Jaine Elizabeth is also leading the development of a new core technology called OPENSEA Map, which tracks and identifies objects in the water.

Jaine Elizabeth Perotti has a diverse education history. From 2020 to 2022, they attended the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Robotics (summa cum laude) and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics (summa cum laude). Prior to their time at Plattsburgh, Jaine attended the Florida Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (partial) in Ocean Engineering. Jaine Elizabeth also holds a High School Diploma from Housatonic Valley Regional High School. In addition to their academic achievements, Jaine obtained the Jira Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian in June 2022.
