Peter Kerson has a diverse work experience in various fields. Peter began their career as a Research Assistant at Harvard University, focusing on forest ecology research. Peter then served as the Co-Director of Hampshire College Emergency Medical Service. Following that, they worked as an Emergency Medical Technician at American Medical Response.

In 2006, Kerson took on the role of Camp Director at Farm & Wilderness Foundation, where they ran a wilderness survival program and developed leadership skills in young boys. Peter continued their career in the medical field, becoming an Instructor and Special Operations Combat Medic in the US Navy. During this time, they also served as a Student, honing their skills and knowledge.
