Ana Shmin

Ana Shmin has a diverse work experience spanning from 2005 to the present. Ana is currently working as the Director of Sponsorships and Events at GreenShield, a position they started in 2024. Prior to this, they held the role of Manager of Senior Sponsorships and Events at the same company starting in 2022.

Before joining GreenShield, Ana worked at Sunnybrook from April 2017 to January 2024, where they held the position of Senior Manager of Community Engagement and Events. Ana also served as the Race Director for RBC Race for the Kids during this time. Ana'sresponsibilities included managing a revenue-generating portfolio and developing strategic event plans. Ana played a key role in raising over $5 million in revenue.

From November 2015 to April 2017, Ana worked at Canadian Tire Corporation Ltd. as a Team Lead and Senior Advisor. Ana managed a team of event and marketing professionals and was responsible for developing client-focused strategies and managing a budget of $6 million. Prior to this role, they worked as a Corporate Events Advisor from April 2013 to November 2015, where they orchestrated partnership events and developed sponsorship packages.

Before joining Canadian Tire, Ana worked at Bombardier Aerospace from March 2007 to April 2013 as an Event Manager. Ana developed and implemented a global marketing and event strategy and oversaw marketing efforts for Bombardier's After Market division. Ana also managed and executed marketing and client events in various international markets.

Ana'searlier work experience includes roles at Directors Guild of Canada - Ontario as an Event/Office Coordinator from November 2005 to March 2007, and at Shoppers Drug Mart as a Consumer Affairs Administrative Assistant from May 2005 to September 2005.

Ana Shmin attended Seneca College from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a Diploma in Marketing. Ana also completed a Leadership Through Teambuilding program at Schulich ExecEd, although the timeline for this is unknown.
