Karen mc Verry

Karen Mc Verry is a Lead Programme Co-ordinator at Southern Regional College, specializing in Level 3 Beauty/Hair and Media/Nails programmes across multiple campuses since September 1995. In addition to this role, Karen serves as a lecturer in Beauty Therapy and Holistic Therapy, covering curriculum from Level 2 to HND. As a Teaching and Learning Advisor, responsibilities include enhancing Technology Enhanced Learning and ensuring quality standards within the institution. Since September 2007, Karen has also been a Moderator and External Quality Assurer for City and Guilds, overseeing Beauty Therapy qualifications and complementary therapy programmes across the UK and Ireland. Prior experience includes owning and managing Dawn Beauty Clinic from July 1991 to September 1999. Educational qualifications include a PGCFHE from Ulster University and an HND in Beauty and Applied Sciences from Belfast Institute of Further and Higher Education.
