Brian McCann

Brian McCann has been working in the software engineering field since 2018, when they joined Cedrus Digital. Brian then moved to GreenSpark Software in 2022. Prior to that, they were self-employed as a director from 2011 to 2018, and also worked as a freelance camera operator, gaffer, director of photography, and editor during that time. From 2013 to 2018, they were also the owner of Gaffersaurus Inc., providing lighting services and grip and lighting equipment on small to medium sized productions.

Brian McCann attended Binghamton University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Cinematography and Film/Video Production. In 2017, they completed the Web Development Immersive Program at Fullstack Academy. In February 2019, Brian obtained the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Brian also obtained the Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certification from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) in October 2019.
