Kory Ann Ferro is an attorney in the Litigation practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP. She has an extensive background representing local, national, and global companies in commercial litigation on both the plaintiff and defense side. While Ms. Ferro is barred to practice in New York and New Jersey, she has also represented companies in other jurisdictions such as California and North Carolina via pro hac vice admission and has experience securing and working with local counsel. Ms. Ferro’s litigation experience includes employment law, breach of contract including violations of restrictive covenants, breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing, breach of fiduciary duties, tortious interference, misappropriation of trade secrets, civil conspiracy, patent violations, and defamation. In large, complex litigation, Ms. Ferro has managed ESI discovery issues, coordinated document reviews utilizing the Relativity platform, and culled data by utilizing search terms, custodial and date restrictions, and artificial intelligence to narrow responsive documents. Ms. Ferro has also negotiated severance packages and assisted in reviewing internal company processes to limit liability for future exposure to litigation.

Additionally, Ms. Ferro has practiced extensively in the arena of foreclosure representing lenders in residential foreclosure actions and has engaged in class action litigation and arbitration. Ms. Ferro’s prior substantial family law experience provides a unique empathetic approach to the practice of law to ensure her representation is zealous as well as practical and business minded. In her practice, Ms. Ferro routinely represents clients in pre-litigation negotiation, filing of pleadings, motion practice, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial.

Previously, Ms. Ferro was counsel and, before that, an associate at two premier litigation firms, where she practiced in the areas of commercial litigation, foreclosure, collections, and family law. Prior to entering private practice, she held a clerkship with the Honorable Judge Margaret M. Hayden in the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
