Natalie Restivo is an associate with Greenspoon Marder’s Franchise Law, Hospitality, Alcohol & Leisure Industry, Innovation & Technology, and Litigation practice groups. She focuses her practice on franchise law advising emerging and established franchise brands. Ms. Restivo has extensive experience with providing general counsel services to franchisors including drafting and reviewing Franchise Disclosure Documents and Franchise Agreements. Ms. Restivo regularly provides franchisors with regulatory guidance on state and federal registrations and franchise document updates. Ms. Restivo assists franchisees with due diligence, review of Franchise Disclosure Documents and general counsel services.

In addition to her transactional work, Ms. Restivo has represented clients in franchise law and commercial litigation matters in Florida state court, federal court and in arbitration. Ms. Restivo has experience representing clients in a full range of franchise dispute resolution matters, including claims arising in breach of contract, franchise fraud, and violations of state and federal franchise laws including the FTC Franchise Rule, the Florida Franchise Act, and the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act.

Ms. Restivo has represented numerous tenants and landlords in franchise-related lease reviews and negotiations. Additionally, she provides counsel and solutions working with national franchisors and commercial brokers on leasing matters.

Ms. Restivo earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. During law school, she was a law clerk for a prominent franchise law firm. While in law school, Ms. Restivo was a recipient of a Law Merit Scholarship and was awarded six separate top-grade awards for classes including legal writing and research, will and trust drafting, professional responsibility, and real estate transactions. She made the Dean’s List every semester of her law school career. Ms. Restivo also received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University.
