Chris Cord has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Chris started their career at First Mercury Financial Corporation in 2012 as an IT Operations Technician, where they worked until 2015. Chris then moved on to Crum & Forster, where they held the positions of Systems Administrator and later System Engineer from 2015 to 2018. Since 2018, Chris has been with GreenStone Farm Credit Services, initially working as a Systems Administrator before being promoted to Senior Systems Administrator. Currently, they hold the position of Manager of Infrastructure at GreenStone Farm Credit Services.

Chris Cord attended Cleary University from 2005 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Computer Information Systems degree with a specialization in Computer Science. During the same period, they also obtained a Certificate of Desktop Support Specialist from Cleary University. Additionally, they completed an Associates in Applied Science degree in Information Technology from Cleary University.

In terms of additional certifications, Chris obtained the following certifications: IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from PeopleCert in May 2019, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate from Microsoft in April 2019. Chris also received several certifications from LinkedIn in May 2022, including Avoiding New Manager Mistakes, Handling Workplace Bullying, Managing Virtual Teams, and Preventing Harassment in the Workplace.
