Joseph Schlies

Joseph Schlies has a diverse work experience. Joseph started as a Farm Hand at Valley View Farms LLC from 2010 to 2019. Simultaneously, they held various positions at the National FFA Organization from 2019 to 2021, including #SpeakAg Ambassador and Pioneer, as well as National Convention Facilitator. Joseph also served as an Office Assistant and President at the Wisconsin Association of FFA from 2019 to 2021. In 2021, they joined the University of Wisconsin-River Falls as a Resident Assistant and Agricultural Economics Teaching Assistant. Joseph then interned as a Financial Analyst at Rabo AgriFinance in 2022. In 2022 and 2023, they held roles as a National FFA Facilitator and Nominating Committee Member at the National FFA Organization. Currently, they work as an Associate Financial Services Officer at GreenStone Farm Credit Services.

Joseph Schlies attended Denmark High School from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained their High School Diploma. In 2019, they enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and is expected to graduate in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business, with a minor in Finance. Throughout their educational journey, Joseph has also obtained several certifications, including being inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society in March 2022, becoming an Accredited Parliamentarian through the Society of Agricultural Education Parliamentarians in November 2019, receiving the National Honor Society Scholarship from the National Association of Secondary School Principals in March 2019, and completing the Microsoft Office 365 certifications in various software applications at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in April 2016.
