Mary Hodak has a wide range of experience in the financial industry, starting with Bank of America in 1989. Mary worked there as a Lending Specialist, Senior Portfolio Manager, and Credit Officer until 2001. From 2001 to 2002, Mary was a Portfolio Manager at Huntington National Bank and then moved on to SunTrust Bank, where they worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager for a brief period. Mary then joined KeyBank Real Estate Capital as a Senior Portfolio Manager, focusing on the Eastern U.S. HomeBuilder finance division from 2002 to 2005.
In 2009, Mary became an Office Administrator at UBCR, LLC until 2011. Mary then participated in the Michigan Shifting Gears program from 2012, which was followed by internships at Mica Gallery Ltd and the Center for Financial Health. In 2013, they began their extensive tenure at GreenStone Farm Credit Services as a Credit Analyst in Capital Markets. Mary worked their way up to become a Senior Capital Markets Analyst and then a Senior Commercial Credit Analyst. Mary was later appointed as the Assistant Vice President of Credit and currently holds the position of Agribusiness Lending Credit Officer.
Throughout their career, Mary has had a strong focus on credit underwriting, financial analysis, industry analysis, and peer comparisons for agricultural and agricultural-related businesses.
Mary Hodak holds a BA degree in Finance from Michigan State University. In 2012, they also attended Michigan Shifting Gears, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study.
