Jake Friedman

Jake Friedman has worked in the energy industry for over 18 years. Jake began their career in 2002 as a Chemical Project Engineer and Chemical Engineer for Proton Energy Systems. In 2007, they joined UTC Power as a Project Developer, Onsite Power, Sr. Engineer, Cell Stack Assemblies, and Fuel Cell Engineer. In 2013, they moved to ClearEdge Power as a Project Developer, Applications Engineering. In 2014, they joined Schneider Electric as a Director, Microgrids, Manager, Project Development & Engineering, and Sr. Combined Heat and Power Engineer. In 2015, they became an Advisory Board Member for Innovative-Diffusion LLC. Most recently, in 2020, they joined GreenStruxure as VP Project Development- Strategic Accounts and Director, Customer Solutions & Tendering.

Jake Friedman received their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut between 1997 and 2002. Jake then went on to pursue an MBA from the University of Connecticut School of Business between 2003 and 2008, with a concentration in Finance. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications from the Association of Energy Engineers: Certified Energy Manager and Certified Measurement & Verification Professional.
