Janine Bennett (She/Her)

Janine Bennett, CPA, CGMA, MSF has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting. Janine most recently served as the Corporate Controller at GreenStruxure since April 2022. Prior to that, they were the Comptroller at New Ecology, Inc. from March 2020 to April 2022.

Janine has also held various leadership positions in finance, including Director of Finance at National Grid from 2017 to 2020, BG Professional: Team Lead & Accounting Controller: United States, Mexico & Canada at Philips Lighting in 2016, and Director of Finance and Administration at Red's Best in 2015.

Additionally, Janine has a strong background in executive finance roles, having served as the Vice President of Finance at CNE Direct, Inc. from 2013 to 2015 and as the Controller of US Operations at SOITEC from 2005 to 2013. Janine also has experience as a Senior Financial Accounting Manager at Nuvera Fuel Cells from 2003 to 2005, as well as in the role of Controller at NEXL, Inc. from 2002 to 2003.

Early in their career, Janine worked as an Accounting Manager at AMR Research from 2001 to 2002.

Janine Bennett, CPA, CGMA, MSF, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School from 1989 to 1993. Janine then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Finance from the same institution from 1998 to 2000. Prior to their college education, Janine graduated with a High School Diploma in College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program from St. Mary's Lynn, Co-ed Catholic college-prep school in Lynn, MA from 1985 to 1989. Janine has furthered their professional credentials by becoming a Certified Public Accountant under the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and obtaining the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation from the AICPA. Janine has also completed the IFRS Certificate Program from the AICPA and holds a Notary Public certification from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
