Dr. Kelvin M. Edwards, Sr. currently serves as Superintendent for Greensville County Public Schools, a role held since July 2021. Prior to this position, Dr. Edwards was the Assistant Superintendent and Public Information Officer for Northampton County Schools from August 2019 to August 2023. Dr. Edwards also held the position of Deputy Superintendent at Franklin City Public Schools from August 2014 to August 2019. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Teacher Education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, obtained between 1985 and 1989, as well as further studies at North Carolina State University and Cambridge College from August 1991 to May 1993.
