Richard Shemesian

Richard Shemesian is a seasoned professional in the mining and resource sector, serving as the Founder of GreenTech Metals Limited since April 2021, focusing on the exploration and development of copper, nickel, and battery metals. Previously, Richard held positions such as Chairman at Apollo Minerals from November 2007 to July 2017, where Richard oversaw global mineral exploration and strategic acquisitions. Richard also contributed as a Private Equity Investor and Corporate Adviser for Estrella Resources Ltd and was involved in founding Hastings Technology Metals Ltd. Additionally, Richard established a private equity and advisory firm dedicated to the mining industry and gained early experience in corporate advisory roles at Macquarie Group and Allens. Richard holds a Commerce/Law degree from The University of Western Australia, specializing in Finance and Corporate/Mining Law.
