Ilyaas Muhomed Abaqaal

Ilyaas Muhomed Abaqaal has a diverse background in various industries. In 2020, they founded GreenTech Solar Firm in Hargeisa, Somaliland, focusing on renewable energy. Currently, they hold the position of Founder at Greentech. In 2022, they joined Soltelco as a Branch Sales Manager and also worked as an Enumerator at Welthungerhilfe. In the same year, they became the Chief Executive Officer at ZEEZ JOBS Consultant, a leading Somali jobs advertising site and independent consulting firm.

Ilyaas Muhomed Abaqaal has a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree with a concentration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Hargeisa. In addition, they hold a Diploma in Renewable Energy from HAVOYOCO and a Diploma in Project Management from the International Business Management Institute. Ilyaas has also received training in Accountability Learning and Monitoring Evaluation from the Humanitarian Leadership Academy and completed a course in Business Development from VC4A.
